Seed Video is an independent publication. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by ByteDance Ltd. Seedance, Seedream, and Doubao are trademarks of their respective owners. All product names are used for identification and review purposes only.
The same applies to every other company and product we write about, including Volcano Engine, BytePlus, CapCut, Dreamina, Jimeng, Together AI, fal, Replicate, Google, Kuaishou (Kling), Alibaba (Wan, HappyHorse), MiniMax (Hailuo), Runway, and OpenAI. We have no commercial relationship with any of them. Nothing on this site is an official statement from any of these companies, and this site should not be described as an official source for any product.
We do not generate video
Seed Video does not provide access to Seedance or any other model. Our prompt generator builds text prompts that you can paste into Jimeng, Dreamina, or an API client of your choice; our cost calculator estimates spend from published price lists. Neither tool connects to any model, uploads anything, or produces video.
Accuracy and freshness
AI video models change on a weekly basis. Durations, resolutions, reference-input limits, free allowances, regional availability, and pricing are all subject to change by the providers at any time. We record a source and a retrieval date for every such claim and show “Last updated” dates on articles, but we cannot guarantee that any figure is still correct when you read it. Where official and third-party sources disagree, we say so and favor the official source. Where we could not verify a claim, we say that too. Always confirm with the provider before making a purchasing or production decision.
No professional advice
Nothing on this site is legal, financial, or professional advice. In particular, our articles about watermarks, commercial use, and content rules summarize what provider terms of service say at the time of writing; they are not a substitute for reading those terms yourself or consulting a lawyer about your specific use.

Comparisons and rankings reflect the editorial judgment of the Seed Video team based on published specifications and documented behavior. We do not run our own video generations, so nothing here rests on first-person testing. They are opinions, not guarantees of how a model will perform for your project. This site is funded by display advertising, including Google AdSense. We do not run sponsored content, paid placements, or affiliate links, and advertisers have no influence on what we publish. Advertisements shown on the site are not endorsements by Seed Video.

We do not reproduce ByteDance, Seedance, Dreamina, or Jimeng logos or brand assets. Featured images and diagrams on this site are created by us. Any resemblance to third-party branding is unintentional.
