1. What the site is
Seed Video is an independent editorial publication about AI video-generation models, in particular ByteDance’s Seedance family. It provides articles, comparisons, prompt examples, and two browser-based planning tools. The site does not generate video, does not sell access to any model, and is not affiliated with ByteDance or any other vendor it writes about.
2. Information, not advice
Everything on the site is provided for general information. Model capabilities, prices, free allowances, regional availability, and terms of use change frequently and without notice. We make reasonable efforts to cite sources and keep pages current, but we do not guarantee that any statement is accurate, complete, or up to date at the moment you read it. Always confirm current details with the provider before relying on them, and do not treat anything here as legal, financial, or professional advice.
3. The tools
The Seedance Prompt Generator and the AI Video Cost Calculator run in your browser and are provided free of charge, “as is”. The prompt generator assembles text prompts; it does not submit them anywhere or create video. The cost calculator produces estimates from published price lists that carry an “as of” date; actual charges depend on the provider, your settings, regeneration behavior, taxes, and currency, and may differ materially. You are responsible for any decisions you make based on these tools.
4. Intellectual property
The original text, graphics, logo, and code on this site are owned by Seed Video unless stated otherwise. You may quote short extracts with attribution and a link to the source page. You may not republish whole articles, scrape the site to build a competing dataset or product, or use our name or logo to suggest endorsement. Product names such as Seedance, Seedream, Doubao, Jimeng, Dreamina, Veo, Kling, Wan, Hailuo, and Runway are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only for identification.
Prompt examples published on this site may be used freely, including commercially, without attribution.
5. Third-party services and links
We link to third-party websites, documentation, and services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability, pricing, or terms. Your use of any third-party service, including any AI model, is governed solely by that provider’s terms and policies.
6. Advertising
